1. Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Kentrove ("Kentrove", "we", "us") and govern your use of the mobile game Kentrove: Last Run (the "Game") and the website at lastrun.kentrove.com. By downloading, installing or playing the Game you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
2. Eligibility & mature content
The Game contains realistic combat violence, weapons and horror themes. You may use the Game only if you meet the age rating shown for it on the App Store or Google Play in your country, and you are legally able to accept these Terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must review and accept these Terms for you.
3. Licence to use the Game
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to download, install and play the Game for your personal, non-commercial entertainment on devices you own or control, as permitted by the usage rules of the store you obtained it from.
You may not, and may not help others to: copy, modify, translate or create derivative works of the Game; decompile, reverse engineer or disassemble it (except where the law expressly allows this); rent, lease, sell, sublicense or distribute it; remove proprietary notices; or use the Game for any unlawful purpose.
4. Coins & virtual items
The Game contains virtual currency ("coins") and virtual items such as weapon upgrades, armor, survivors and outfits. These are earned through gameplay or by watching optional rewarded videos. The Game has no in-app purchases, and coins and virtual items:
- have no monetary value and cannot be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for real money, goods or anything of value;
- are licensed to you, not owned by you, and form part of the limited licence in section 3;
- are stored on your device and may be lost if you uninstall the Game, clear its data, change or reset your device;
- may be adjusted, rebalanced or removed by us as part of game updates.
We do not offer refunds or replacements for lost coins or virtual items, except where the law requires.
5. Ads & rewarded videos
The Game is free and supported by advertising provided by Google AdMob. Ads may appear between runs and when the Game is opened, but are not shown during active gameplay. Rewarded videos are always optional. When you finish a rewarded video, you receive the reward described before it started (for example a revive, double coins, a weapon trial or a bonus crate). If an ad is unavailable, fails to load, or is closed early, the reward may not be granted. We may set daily limits on rewarded videos and change rewards over time.
Ads are provided by third parties. We do not endorse advertised products and are not responsible for third-party content, websites or offers. Your choices about personalised advertising are explained in the Privacy Policy.
6. Fair play
You agree not to:
- use cheats, exploits, bots, modified clients, automation software or hacks, or interfere with the Game's code or save data;
- manipulate leaderboards or submit scores you did not legitimately earn;
- exploit bugs to gain an advantage — please report them to support@kentrove.com instead;
- interfere with ads, generate fraudulent ad impressions or clicks, or obtain rewards without genuinely watching rewarded videos;
- use offensive, misleading or infringing names or content on Game Center or Google Play Games profiles connected to the Game.
We may remove scores, reset progress or restrict access to features if we reasonably believe you have broken these rules.
7. Third-party services
The Game works with services provided by others, including Apple Game Center, Google Play Games Services, Google AdMob and Google Firebase. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions. Leaderboards and achievements are provided by Apple or Google; scores are only shared if you turn on score sharing in Settings.
8. Intellectual property
The Game and all of its content — including code, characters, artwork, 3D models, animations, music, sound effects, text, logos and the names "Kentrove" and "Kentrove: Last Run" — are owned by Kentrove or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Some assets are used under licence from third parties; their notices are included with the Game. Except for the licence in section 3, no rights are granted to you.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them freely without obligation to you.
You may share screenshots and gameplay videos of the Game for non-commercial purposes, as long as you do not suggest that Kentrove endorses you.
9. Updates & availability
We may update, change, suspend or discontinue the Game or any feature at any time, for example to fix bugs, improve balance or comply with the law. Some updates may be required to keep playing. An internet connection is required to play the Game; data charges from your network provider may apply. We do not guarantee that the Game will be available on every device, OS version or in every country.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. Play responsibly: take breaks, and be aware of your surroundings while playing.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranties to be excluded, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kentrove will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, virtual items, profits or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Game or these Terms. Because the Game is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim relating to the Game is limited to USD 50 (or the equivalent in your local currency).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Game at any time by uninstalling it. These Terms and your licence end automatically if you break them. When they end, you must stop using the Game and delete it. Sections 4, 8, 10, 11, 15 and 16 survive termination.
13. Additional terms for Apple App Store users
If you downloaded the Game from the Apple App Store, the following also applies:
- These Terms are between you and Kentrove only, not Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Kentrove, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Game and its content.
- Your licence is limited to using the Game on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the Game may be accessed by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the Game. Support is provided by Kentrove at support@kentrove.com.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation for the Game. If the Game fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the Game to you.
- Kentrove, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the Game or your possession and use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the Game fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
- If a third party claims that the Game or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, Kentrove, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the Game.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and once you accept them, Apple will have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
Where these Terms conflict with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, these Terms apply to the extent permitted.
14. Additional terms for Google Play users
If you downloaded the Game from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the Game. Use of Google Play Games Services is subject to Google's terms and privacy policy.
15. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to the next sentence, the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Game. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another country whose laws give you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts or to rely on mandatory local laws, nothing in this section takes away those rights.
Before starting any formal proceedings, please contact us at support@kentrove.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
16. General
- Changes: we may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and update the date above. If a change is material, we will give notice in the Game. Continuing to play after the change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
- Entire agreement: these Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Kentrove about the Game.
- Severability: if any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
- No waiver: failing to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
- Assignment: you may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours, for example as part of a sale of the Game.
- Language: these Terms are written in English. Any translation is for convenience only.
