How to play

New to Kentrove? Here's everything you need for your first run and beyond.

Quick start in five steps

  1. Install & open

    Download free from the App Store or Google Play. No account or sign-up — just open and play.

  2. Play the training

    Your first run is a guided training that lights up each control one at a time. Replay it anytime from Settings.

  3. Tap RUN

    On Home, check your starting city and equipped weapon, then hit the big RUN button.

  4. Move, aim, fire

    Left thumb moves. Right thumb aims and fires. Jump and slide past wreckage while you shoot.

  5. Upgrade & repeat

    Spend coins in the Armory, complete missions and run again. Every run takes you further.

Hover or tap a control on the right to find it on screen. Button positions may vary slightly by device.

Touch controls

Two thumbs. Total control.

Left thumb

Joystick
Move and stop. Steer around wrecks and enemies. Push the stick to the top edge to sprint.
Sprint
Toggle a sprint to cover ground fast. Sprinting lowers your scope.
Storm
Your super power. It charges as you fight and pulses when ready — tap to wipe out the horde.

Right thumb

Drag to aim
Drag anywhere on the right side to move your crosshair.
Fire
Hold to shoot, release to stop. You reload automatically when the magazine is empty.
Scope
Zoom in for precise headshots. Headshot kills trigger slow motion.
Jump · Slide
Jump over barricades and low wreckage; slide under debris and boss attacks.
Reload · Swap
Top up your magazine early, or swap to another weapon mid-run.
Grenade
Throw into packed crowds. The counter shows how many you have left.

Survival tips

  • Prioritise threats. Runners and exploders close fast — drop them before the slow walkers.
  • Go for heads. Headshots deal far more damage and save ammo against brutes and bosses.
  • Pick gates wisely. Steer through upgrade gates — more bullets, more damage — that suit your weapon.
  • Save the Storm. Hold your super power for a horde or a boss phase, not a few stragglers.
  • Keep moving. Standing still lets the horde surround you. Strafe while you shoot.
  • Use the scope on bosses. Big targets reward precise, sustained fire.

Coins & progression

  • Earn coins every run for distance, kills and bosses. Coins have no real-money value.
  • Armory: upgrade damage, fire rate, magazine, reload and crit for each weapon, plus armor and tactical training.
  • Shop & outfits: unlock survivors (Kade, Nova, Reyes, Vance) and outfits with coins, and open free supply crates.
  • Missions: complete daily and milestone missions for bonus rewards.
  • Optional rewarded videos: revive once per run, double your coins or try a weapon — always your choice.
  • Ranks: share scores with Game Center or Google Play Games (off by default — turn on Share scores with game service in Settings).

FAQ

Questions, answered

Is Kentrove: Last Run free?

Yes. The game is free to download and play. It's supported by ads, including optional rewarded videos. There are no in-app purchases — everything is unlocked with coins you earn by playing.

Which devices can play it?

Kentrove: Last Run is made for iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets. Check the store listing for the minimum OS version supported by the current release. For the smoothest play, close other apps and set Graphics to AUTO in Settings.

Do I need an account or an internet connection?

No account is needed — your progress is saved on your device. An internet connection is needed for ads, rewarded videos and Game Center / Google Play Games leaderboards.

Aiming feels hard. Can the game help?

Yes. Open Settings → Aim Mode. AUTO locks on to targets for you, ASSISTED gently helps your aim, and MANUAL leaves it all to you. You can also tune aim sensitivity, graphics, sound and camera shake.

What happens when I die?

You can revive once per run by watching an optional rewarded video, or end the run. Either way you keep the coins you earned and can spend them in the Armory before your next run.

Will I lose my progress if I delete the game?

Progress is stored locally on your device, so uninstalling the game or clearing its data removes it. Leaderboard scores you chose to share stay on Game Center or Google Play Games.

How do I change my ad or privacy choices?

Open Settings in the game. Use PRIVACY OPTIONS (shown where required) to change advertising consent, switch SHARE GAMEPLAY ANALYTICS on or off, and open the privacy policy. On iPhone and iPad the game shows only non-personalised ads and doesn't track you, so there's no tracking setting to change.

Is the game suitable for children?

No. Kentrove: Last Run contains realistic combat violence and horror themes and is intended for mature players. Please check the age rating shown on the App Store or Google Play in your region.

How do I send feedback or report a bug?

Use the contact form on our Support page, or email support@kentrove.com. Include your device model, OS version and a short description. We read every suggestion and aim to reply within a few business days.
